The Villa Group and Tafer Resorts: how it all began

Tafer Resorts as it is today is the product of many years of dedication to quality, innovation, and the provision of unique experiences… but it also the product of a consolidation all assets in part or full.

The Villa Group

The very first Villa Group property to join the roster was in the popular town of Puerto Vallarta; the Villa del Mar achieved great success and acclaim, and is the foundation (arguably) upon which today’s success is built. The Villa del Palmar resort in Puerto Vallarta soon followed. Success in this vacation hotspot led to a move to Cabo San Lucas where the second Villa del Palmar Resort & Spa was developed along with the Villa La Estancia and Villa del Arco resorts in Cabo.

At this point Puerto Vallarta had become such a success story that developers began to take interest in nearby towns such as Nuevo Vallarta. The Villa Group soon opened the Villa del Palmar Flamingos resort in a wonderful area with good links to Puerto Vallarta, lots of golfing opportunities, and lovely white sand beaches.  The second Villa La Estancia hotel soon followed.
